A Shift in Relationship Energy
On Wednesday, the 27th, as Venus gets ready to change directions in the heavens from the viewpoint of earth, our life situations involving love, affection, gratitude, emotional support, and our sense of connection with
others, will be highlighted. Those who’ve been feeling somewhat disconnected socially from their usual circle are likely to experience a new appreciation for the people they care about. It’s an excellent period for doing something special, gift giving, or making your deeper feelings known over the next few days and even beyond.
Venus represents the feminine side of energy (along with the Moon) and since May 15 it’s been stronger than usual because it’s been ‘retrograde’. As Venus gets ready to go ‘direct’, benefits come from being more sensitively aware of our commitments and social contracts, and this can be a time that opens up a new chapter in life with loved ones, particularly in marriage or in our most cherished relationships. It can also be rewarding to be more aware of other’s emotional needs or whatever might please them, especially from a deeper awareness of what we have to offer or what others appreciate about us. In a sense, it’s time to pick up where we left off about six weeks ago and experience the chance to share the joys and challenges of life together with a renewed sense of commitment.
Venus remains favorable in sidereal Taurus through July 31 – also great for the arts or beautifying your surroundings. Venus is the planet of happiness and can indicate the realization of how the acceptance of others as they are can be a great source of joy and contribute to a deeper sense of inner peace.
Long-term Economic Considerations
Saturn in Virgo finally finishes up its stay here between now and August 3, after it first entered Virgo on September, 9, 2009 – almost three years ago. Both Saturn and Virgo have to do with employment and job situations – the health of the overall marketplace and job market – both of which have suffered
considerable financial losses within this period. But helping out between now and August 3 is Jupiter in sidereal Taurus that’s favoring Saturn and showing likely gains through continued patience, perseverance, industry, and consciousness of an objective. However, transiting Jupiter in Taurus in the same sign as Ketu is still likely to indicate that clear-cut decisions on how to deal with global debt situations and economic reforms are hard to come by, with no real sense of clarity or certainty, while there’s still the threat of mounting debts, wild fluctuations in the stock market, and the need for volatile political situations to sort themselves out. Such conditions may require that we take more upon ourselves as individuals to create new sources of income on our own, or come up with creative financial solutions in the midst of a lethargic global economy.
After Saturn finally leaves Virgo, it enters its exalted sidereal sign of Libra on August 3 and will remain there until November, 2, 2014. Saturn then becomes a greater force for good along the lines of business, partnerships, legal reforms, real estate, labor and the general climate of employment. Libra being a Cardinal
sign also tends to be more generally progressive in nature, innovative and enterprising; and the chance of international business alliances should be more active and favorable. Libra is also associated with the economic and political strength of such Asian countries as China and a possible slowdown in their rate of growth, allowing the rest of the world to play catch-up.
Although there have been considerable global financial losses during the last three years, Jupiter in Taurus should help stabilize the overall marketplace over the next year or so, especially after the transits of Rahu in Scorpio and Ketu in Taurus are over in January 2013. With Rahu in Libra and Ketu in Aries, for more cardinal power and energy, this new cycle can represent clearer financial and business decisions and scientific or technological advances that can fuel a new economy, but perhaps not without signifying another financial crisis on the horizon that will lead to the necessary breakthroughs that can re-energize our economy. The greatest that can be hoped for are new innovations in technology or manufacturing that can create new industries and help generate new streams of income. I believe the transiting nodes of Rahu in Libra and Ketu in Aries will be of great benefit to create a new sense of enterprise and purpose in life in our worldly existence.
Sincerely, Haizen Paige, Sedona, AZ
